According to some rumors, AMG is expected to release surprise expansions in 2026, which were not announced during Ministravaganza 2025 (this is neither confirmed nor official at this time).

This SWP177 expansion appears to be a new core box, with Empire and Rebellion?

SWP96 - Ancient Ruins

This is a new terrain, coded SWP96 and named “Ancient Ruins.” A Sith ruin, perhaps?

SWP97 - Ancient Ruins Dig Site

Following on from the previous terrain, here is a new terrain, coded SWP97 and named “Ancient Ruins Dig Site.”

SWP69 - KOTOR Battle Set (Base)

Well, this is an incredible surprise!
First of all, it would be a new type of expansion: "Battle Set". Is it a kind of basic box with two factions, but without terrain?
And then KOTOR... Knights of the Old Republic!
The full name of this expansion would be "KOTOR Battle Set, Legends of the Old Republic".

So, the Old Republic in SWP!

Will this be a whole new era in the game with other expansions to come? Or just a one-off special box? I don't know.

In any case, this expansion would fit perfectly with the remakes of KOTOR I and KOTOR II, which are currently in developement and scheduled for release in 2026.
And the "Ancient Ruins" and "Ancient Ruins Dig Site" terrains would fit perfectly into this new universe in SWP!
